The International Graduate School of English in Seoul, Korea is about to begin its admission process from the up-coming June 2020. All foreign students accepted will receive a scholarship for all 4 semesters.

Global Scholarship

  • For Whom: All foreign students
  • Scholarship: 50% of tuition for 4 semesters

Global Leader Scholarship

  • For whom: English native speakers(Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, US) or foreign applicants who speak native-like English
  • Number of scholarships: 3
  • Documents to submit: A recommendation letter(additional points for CELTA, TESOL certificates)
  • Scholarship: 70% of tuition for 4 semester

Who is the IGSE for?

The International Graduate School of English’s one of a kind MA program has been specially designed for both those with English language teaching (ELT) qualifications and experience and those without. IGSE’s intensive curriculum is designed to produce professionals in the field of ELT including English teachers, materials developers, researchers, and entrepreneurs. Over the two year course, we provide our students with extensive knowledge of theory in language learning and teaching as well as practical skills and experience.

TEFL Major

Overview

The Department of English Language Teaching (ELT) offers a Master of Arts in TEFL. This program is for teachers and others interested in English language teaching, and its aim is to produce English teaching professionals who can also conduct their own research. Click here for more information.

ELT Materials Development Major

Overview

In the Department of EMD, students work towards a Master of Arts in ELT Materials Development. The department aims to investigate the problems in the present state of ELT materials in Korea, and foster the skills and knowledge to develop appropriate materials to aid English teaching professionals. Click here for more information.
