Spend the Day at the Beach
One of the best parts about living in Yeosu is having access to the beaches and the sea. Why not pack a cooler and invite your friends out for a beach day? You can go swimming or just enjoy the beautiful views. There are several beach areas in Yeosu. Mosagum is a beautiful and clean beach worth checking out. Spending time at the beach with friends makes for a great spring or summer activity. You can even spend the evening camping out, if you want to make an evening of it.
Enjoy the Tourist Attractions
Many people travel to Yeosu, just to take part in its many activities. While living in Yeosu, you might as well check out some of the more popular attractions, since they’re in your own backyard! This includes riding the cable cars. You can ride over Yeosu as you take in the view of the iconic bridge and the water and can hitch a ride over to Dolsan Island. Another great attraction is the Sky Tower, near the Expo. At the top of the tower, you will find a coffee shop that has offers beautiful views of the sea. At nighttime, the tower is colorful lit-up display!
Eat Fresh Seafood
There’s lots of seafood to be enjoy in Yeosu, since the city is coastal. Whether you love clams, crabs, or are craving sashimi, it can be found here. Yeosu has its own fish market, where a lot of seafood restaurants and shops can be found nearby. As you spend more time living in Yeosu, you can explore the various restaurants to find your favorite seafood places.
